West Reading plans partial demolition of R.M. Palmer building #1

The Borough of West Reading issued an alert Monday afternoon informing residents of an upcoming partial demolition project that will take place at R.M. Palmer building #1, located at 77 S. 2nd Ave. The demolition is expected to take place during the afternoon of Wednesday, April, 12.

The demolition will remove the north-facing wall from Building #1, which the Borough says is in danger of collapse. The demolition is expected to increase safety for the continuing investigation.
