A Wind Chill Advisory has been issued for Berks County by the National Weather Service. Very cold wind chills expected from 3pm Friday, December 23, 2022 to 1pm Saturday, December 24, 2022.
Wind chills as low as 25 below zero possible. The cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

A strong cold front will move through Friday bringing a very sharp drop in temperatures with strong southerly winds shifting to strong westerly.
By mid Friday afternoon, this combination of wind and cold will result in wind chills of 10 below zero or lower with wind chills as low as 15 below zero Friday night into Saturday morning.
Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.
