Gift wrapping at Berkshire Mall to benefit Safe Berks

Safe Berks volunteers are waiting to wrap your holiday gifts at the Berkshire Mall. This effort started on December 1 and continues through December 24.

The Safe Berks Gift Wrapping table is located near center court, next to the escalator. All donations will benefit free services to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.

“We are grateful to all our volunteers who have donated their valuable time to wrap gifts to help Safe Berks,” said Beth Garrigan, Safe Berks CEO.

“Our Gift Wrapping Table is an important fundraiser, and we encourage you to visit with your gifts. All donations help us continue to provide free services to local survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. While most of us enjoy the safety and happiness of our homes during the holidays, unfortunately, home is not a safe place for everyone. For victims of domestic violence, home can be the most dangerous place of all.”

Safe Berks services include shelter, a 24-hour Hotline and text line, counseling, legal services, community outreach and response, medical advocacy, and education. Services are free, confidential, and available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Services are available in all languages. Our 24-Hour Hotline number is 844-789-SAFE (7233), or text SAFE BERKS to 20121.
