New Partnership Gives Berks Youth Access to Reading Royals Clinics and More

In a presentation at Conrad Weiser Middle School in Robesonia Friday evening, Olivet Boys & Girls Club announced a new community partnership with the Reading Royals for the 2020-2021 season.

The partnership through the Royals KidsClub will provide opportunities for Olivet youth to participate in free skills and drills clinics, a pre and post season party with Royals players and Slapshot, free tickets to five select home games, five free kids meals at local Applebee’s, as well as, KidsClub memorabilia.

“This is an exciting way for the Royals to give back to Olivet Boys & Girls Club and help introduce their members to the game of hockey,” Royals General Manager David Farrar said.

“It’s also important for our players to participate in the Greater Reading community, and this program allows them the opportunity to serve as mentors and role models for young people throughout Berks County.”

“Olivet Boys & Girls Club continues to strive to meet the needs of the youth in the Reading and Berks County. It is imperative we continue to give our youth, great opportunities and experiences through our programming”” said Chris Winters, President and CEO, Olivet Boys & Girls Club.
