Since then, Aponte has traveled to Kansas City, Missouri to participate in MLB’s Softball Breakthrough Series over Memorial Day weekend and this coming weekend, she will once again be playing baseball as one of only 64 girls internationally participating in MLB’s Girl’s Baseball Breakthrough Series at the Jackie Robinson Training Complex in Vero Beach, Florida.

To say Aponte is excited is an understatement. We caught up with her Wednesday night at Big Vision Sports Complex, “It’s going to be fun and a positive experience, I can’t wait” said Aponte.
