BARTA has made several service changes for Thursday, December 31, New Year’s Eve on certain routes. There is no bus service on New Year’s Day.
Some BARTA routes will stop service early on New Year’s eve. Other routes will operate their normal schedules for Christmas Eve.
Route 1: Temple will make its last departure from the BTC at 7pm. Route 4: 10th/11th Streets will make its last departure from 10th & Exeter at 7:40pm and from the BTC at 8pm.
Route 8: Reiffton/Shelbourne Square/Birds- boro will make its last departure from the BTC at 6pm. Route 10: Brookline will make its last departure from the BTC at 7:40pm.
Route 15: Berkshire Mall will make its last departure from the BTC at 7pm. Route 16: Broadcasting Square will make its last departure from the BTC at 7:15pm. Route 18: Schuylkill Avenue will make its last departure from the BTC at 7:10pm.
Route 19: Cotton Street will make its last departure from the BTC at 7:15pm. Route 20: Route 61/Hamburg will make its last departure at 5:05pm. Route 22: Lyon Station/East Penn-Deka will make its last departure from the BTC at 2pm.
