Storm System will bring Rain, Wind to Berks Monday

Berks County will see rain and possibly a thunderstorm before Monday. With a high of near 64. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.

Rain, heavy at times, is expected from the early morning hours on Monday through the early afternoon.

Urban, poor drainage, and small stream flooding will be possible with a marginal (1 out of 4) risk for the heavy rain to cause flash flooding.

There could be a brief lull before additional rain comes through around the mid afternoon to early evening time frame (roughly 3-7 PM) as a line of showers with some embedded thunderstorms possible.

Locally damaging winds will be possible even in the absence of lightning and thunder. Also, along the coast winds will be quite strong through most of the day with gusts up to 50 mph likely.
