Tropical Storm Isaias Causes Flooding and Power Outages in Berks

Tropical Storm Isaias moved into Berks County Tuesday afternoon dumping almost 5 inches of rain in Boyertown. The heavy rain and winds caused creeks to over flow and trees to fall in Muhlenberg, Fleetwood, Kutztown, and in many other areas.

Emergency crews rushed to answer the hundreds of calls Tuesday, including multiple water rescues, pump assignments, and attending to downed trees.
