Wyomissing Public Library goes fine-free

The Wyomissing Public Library has announced that it is now fine-free. The new policy went into effect March 15th and applies to all materials borrowed by patrons, including books, dvds, audiobooks, magazines, and cd’s. Patrons will continue to be responsible for lost items.

In addition to going fine-free, the library is one of the first in the County to offer self-checkout to patrons, thanks to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

“We are happy and excited to be able to provide these innovative services to our patrons, and look forward to the library’s continued growth and development in our community” Library Director Colleen Stamm said.
