Albright College Homecoming 2025 showcases a community re-energized

With record-setting enthusiasm and a roaring display of school pride, Albright College’s Homecoming & Family Weekend 2025 proved that the Lions are charging boldly into the future.

Festivities began Friday evening with a high-energy pep rally that filled the stands with cheering students, alumni and families. The momentum surged into Saturday as the Lions triumphed in a thrilling Homecoming football matchup — Albright 32, FDU-Florham 18 – electrifying the crowd and reinforcing the strength of Albright’s athletic resurgence.

Attendance across the weekend was estimated at more than 1,500 participants, marking one of the strongest Homecoming turnouts in recent years. With an expanded carnival, a lineup of popular food trucks, and the lively Roar & Pour beer garden, attendees enjoyed a full day of fun, connection and Lion pride.

As the sun set, the celebration culminated in a massive Homecoming bonfire, illuminating the renewed confidence and momentum shaping Albright’s future.

“Albright is back!” one alumnus shouted — a sentiment echoed throughout campus.

James Gaddy, Vice President for Advancement, called the weekend a defining moment in Albright’s resurgence: “This Homecoming wasn’t just a celebration — it was a statement. Our community is proud, passionate and determined. The Lion spirit cannot be caged. ”

President Debra M. Townsley expressed deep gratitude for the alumni and families who made the weekend unforgettable. “Our transformation is well underway,” she said. “This outpouring of pride and support demonstrates that Albright’s future is bright — and our momentum is real.”

With rising enrollment, new academic and athletic programs, and renewed alumni engagement, Albright College is entering a new era of strength and possibility.

The Lions are roaring again — and the future has never looked stronger.
