A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle Wednesday evening in Wyomissing, according to the Wyomissing Police Department.
Police said the crash occurred on November 4, 2026, at approximately 5:15 p.m. in the 800 block of Penn Avenue.
The pedestrian was transported to Reading Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash but later died from those injuries.
Authorities said the victim has been identified, but their name is being withheld pending notification of family members.
The Pennsylvania State Police assisted the Wyomissing Police Department with the investigation.
The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation. Police have not released additional details about the vehicle or driver involved.
