Genesius Theatre Presents ‘Clue: On Stage’ – A Whodunit Comedy Extravaganza!

Get ready for a night of laughter, mystery, and mayhem as Genesius Theatre presents “Clue: On Stage” from October 6 through October 15. This hilarious murder mystery event is based on the beloved board game Clue, known for its timeless question: Whodunit? Where? And with what?

“Clue: On Stage” takes the classic game and brings it to life on the theater stage, promising an evening of uproarious entertainment. Directed by newcomer Bill Eschbach, this production is the seventh offering in Genesius’ stellar 2023 Season.

As fans of the board game know, Clue is all about solving a murder mystery, but fear not, this adaptation emphasizes comedy over chills. The story unfolds in a creepy old manor house during a storm, and as expected, there will be murders – several of them. However, the thrills here are of the comedic variety, with witty dialogue and broad physical humor that will keep you guessing and laughing throughout the breezy 80-minute performance.

The talented cast is a who’s who of comedic talents in Greater Reading, featuring Brandon Reimer as Wadsworth the butler, Jeffrey Jones as Colonel Mustard, James Haggerty as Professor Plum, Corey Clark as Mr. Green, Susan A. Behn as Mrs. Peacock, Abigial Mack-Zuckert as Mrs. White, Veronica Bauscher as Miss Scarlett, Sarah Althen as Yvette the maid, and a host of other ensemble roles played by Sean C. Hafer, Pete Kueny-Rongione, and Dara Tatarowicz.

Genesius Theatre has also partnered with DoubleTree by Hilton for a convenient Park/Dinner/Shuttle/Show/Shuttle-Program. This allows audiences to park for free in the DoubleTree garage, dine at the DoubleTree before the show, and get shuttled to and from the performance. To take advantage of this offer, be sure to make reservations for dinner at least two hours before showtime.
