The Reading Police Department Police is investigating a shooting that occurred in the 400 block of South 16th Street Saturday morning.
Police say a 38-year-old male victim was transported from the scene to the hospital and is in critical condition.
A second victim was found in the 1300 block of Good Street after fleeing the scene. The second victim, a 24-year-old male, suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Details of what lead to the incident were not provided. The investigation is ongoing and police say there is no known ongoing threat to public safety from this incident.
