A 19-year-old reported missing to the Reading Police Department on Thursday March 30, 2023, was discovered deceased in the woods along Oak Lane in Reading on Wednesday evening, April 5, 2023.
Authorities have identified the man as 19-year-old Javien Perch, last seen on March 28, 2023, around 7:30pm in the 1500 block of North 10th Street walking South.

Police say the case is now being investigated as a homicide, but declined to release any further information at this time.
