The Pennsylvania State Police Troop L in Reading are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man in connection to multiple Access Device Frauds that took place in May of 2022.
According to investigators, the victim’s employer sent him a prepaid debit card as a reward for a contest at work, however, the Victim never received the card in the mail.
Police say an unidentified individual intercepted the mailed card at some point, activated it, and used it at several ATMs, specifically the Womelsdorf, Rite-Aid and the Bethel Sheetz.
The card was preloaded with $1,000.00; the actor withdrew $988.96 from the card between 05/04/2022 and 05/08/2022.
The suspect is described as a white male, likely in his late 50s or early 60s, partly bald with graying hair, with a white full goatee, driving a blue SUV, likely a Nissan Rogue. Police said he presumably lives in Western Berks County.
Anyone with information or can identify the subject depicted in the photos is asked to submit an anonymous tip to Crime Alert Berks County.
