This year marks the 20th Anniversary of Ethosource Office Furniture, a national office furniture manufacturer, dealer, and services provider. As a leader in an ever-changing industry, the Morgantown-based company celebrates a two-decade-long commitment to improving the ways businesses create inspiring workplaces.
Already well-versed in the world of office furniture in 2001, Ethosource President & Owner, John Gallen, made the leap from employee to entrepreneur. The small, Morgantown-based startup traveled across the country to liquidate office furniture from businesses of all sizes and revitalize it with all new parts, trim, and materials, before selling them for a fraction of the original price.
Ethosource quickly became an industry leader in liquidating and remanufacturing office furniture, but through their evolution, the company has been able to offer businesses much more than that.
Their specialty now reflects a unique ability to blend all kinds of both new and refurbished solutions and manufacturers to achieve any customer vision, no matter what their budget.
“Ethosource was founded on a passion for helping companies create a great workplace,” John Gallen explained. “We’ve been fortunate to build an awesome team over the years who all share that passion because that’s what our work is all about — designing an environment that allows every team to do what they love and be great at it. And we’re constantly striving to find better ways to help businesses do that.”
In addition to representing over 100 manufacturers and brands, the company produces a tremendous selection of proprietary products in a 100,000 sq. ft. warehouse at its corporate headquarters in Morgantown.
Their team has grown to over 60 members with another two locations in Wyomissing and King of Prussia, PA, which also host a complete suite of nationwide furniture management services from office liquidations, space planning and design, move management, and more.
For the last 18 years, Ethosource has been named one of Greater Reading’s Top 50 businesses, fueled by its holistic dedication to giving back to the community. Not only is the company’s involvement in local organizations and charities a top priority, but their comprehensive refurbishing alternatives have made them an industry leader in keeping office furniture out of local landfills, in addition to an extensive library of eco-friendly product lines and material selections to help businesses achieve LEED certifications.
