Exeter Police Investigate Placement of Large Rocks on 422

Exeter Township Police are investigating several incidents where it appears someone has placed boulders on the Route 422 (West Shore Bypass) eastbound just after the Mt. Penn exit.

Police say a total of six motor vehicle accidents have been reported since November 30th through December 19th. The rocks weighing between 50 and 60 pounds have disabled several vehicles along and placed several others in danger.

Exeter Township Police are asking that if any member of the public has information on these incidents, call the Exeter Township Police Department at 610-779-1490 and reference case number 19-6408. The ETPD Detective Bureau is investigating.
