Reading Police are investigating a shooting that occurred late Thursday night in the 1300 block of Good Street.
Officers responded to a residence mid block for the report of a shooting at approximately 10:40 pm. Upon arrival, Police say they found a man with a single gunshot wound to the back.
Investigators say the victim is a 22 year old Reading man. He was transported to Reading Hospital for treatment for a non-life-threatening injury.
During the course of the investigation, Police determined that an unidentified male suspect fired multiple rounds into the residence the victim was inside.
Currently, investigators say they believe that this was a targeted incident and that there is no threat to the general public.
This incident is still under investigation.
