The Junior League of Reading will host its 16th annual Touch-a-Truck event on Saturday, April 22, 2023, once again partnering with The Fightin Phils.
The event will take place 10:30am – 3pm. A sensory friendly hour will be held from 9:30 – 10:30am for those who prefer a quieter environment. Tickets are $8 for those 13 and up, kids 12 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased in advance at JLReading.org.
At Touch-a-Truck, kids of all ages will have the opportunity to see, climb in, and explore their favorite trucks during this fun and exciting interactive event. They will get to learn about vehicles that work in health and safety, public works, construction, landscaping, and more. This family-friendly event also offers games, music, a bounce house, entertainment, and food and beverages from the Fightins concessions stands.
Proceeds raised from the event will support the Junior League of Reading and our Youth Empowerment Initiatives. As the organization celebrates their Centennial Year serving the Greater Reading area, they are proud to continue to grow and develop community outreach.
