LGBT Center of Greater Reading forms partnership with Superheroes for Autism

The LGBT Center of Greater Reading announced a formal partnership with Superheroes for Autism Thursday afternoon. The partnership between the two organizations will include shared space, collaborative programming, and a multitude of events.

“This partnership provides both organizations the opportunity to grow and evolve to meet the increasing needs of the LGBTQ+ community and those of neurodivergent experience,” said Michelle Dech, CEO of the LGBT Center of Greater Reading.

The LGBT Center of Greater Reading creates, administers, and provides services, advocacy, and support to the Greater Reading LGBTQ+ community, with the goal that all may live a life of fulfillment, inclusion, and celebration.

“Superheroes for Autism is excited to partner with the LGBT Center of Greater Reading. Our organization’s goals align and are similar. Both groups work to ensure a safe place, awareness, acceptance, and advocacy,” said Deneida Perez, President of Superheroes for Autism.

Superheroes for Autism is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing activities and support for families with children and youth adults on the autism spectrum in a safe and friendly environment, as well as, to raise awareness of autism in the community.
