“At Girls on the Run Berks, we are incredibly proud of the growth and impact we’ve achieved over the past decade, marking this Spring season as the largest single season to date with over 525 program participants,” said Kirsten Haas, Executive Director of Girls on the Run Berks. “Our 10-year anniversary is a testament to the dedication of our coaches and volunteers, the support of our community, and the transformative power of our programs.”

Each participant in the Girls on the Run program receives a commemorative medal at the end of the 5K event, symbolizing their numerous achievements throughout the season. Beyond physical activity, Girls on the Run focuses on teaching essential life skills, blending lessons on managing emotions, fostering friendships, and expressing empathy with the joy of running.
