Olivet Club Distributes Produce, Bread, Milk in Western Berks

Olivet Boys & Girls Club, in collaboration with the Heidelberg Family Restaurant, and Clover Farms, provided free, fresh produce, milk, and bread to local families in need Saturday at Conrad Weiser Middle School.

The event is a part of Olivet’s ongoing food distribution efforts in western Berks County while clubs remain closed to normal programming and operations.

“The Olivet Boys & Girls Club will continue to rise to the challenge in addressing the needs of the youth of our Berks County and their families as the pandemic continues to affect our community” said Chris Winters, President and CEO, Olivet Boys & Girls Club

“The unprecedented epidemic requires us to collaborate and work with community partners such as Heidelberg Family Restaurant and Clover Farms, and do ‘whatever it takes’ for our youth throughout Berks.”

“By working with a dedicated youth organization such as the Olivet Boys & Girls Club, we are able to help families in need by providing them some basic staples such as milk, eggs and bread in western Berks County” said Sabrena Ehlmarzouky, of the Heidelberg Family Restaurant.

“We are grateful for the working relationship with Olivet, but also the ongoing support from the agricultural community and in particular, Clover Farms Dairy,”
