One Love Project Seeking Volunteers for Community Cleanup Effort

One Love Project is seeking volunteers to help during this Saturday’s Turkey Bowl Cleanup on Penn Street in Reading.

“This is the last OLP’s cleanup of the year and we want to bring together the community to help clean the area and have the opportunity to participate in a door prize giveaway to start the Thanksgiving holiday with the right foot”, said Angel Gonzalez, co-founder of OLP.

The cleanup, which is the third event organized by One Love Project, is set for this Saturday, November 14 from 11-3pm at 840 Penn Street.

“We are so proud of the impact the project has had in the community”, said Timothy Nye, OLC co-founder.

“During previous cleanups, OLP volunteers have been able to recollect near 1 ton of trash and our goal is to ultimately involve the community and empower them to take care of their spaces”, concluded Nye.
