SUV crashes through St. Lawrence convenience store; no injuries reported

An SUV crashed through the front window of a St. Lawrence borough convenience store Tuesday afternoon, causing significant damage to the exterior and interior of the store. No injuries were initially reported.

The crash happened at the Turkey Hill located at 3057 St. Lawrence Avenue around 12:15pm.

According to initial reports, the driver mistakenly pushed the gas pedal instead of the break pedal when parking.

This is not the first time a car has crashed through the front of this convenience store. A similar accident happened in May of 2021 where a car went through the front window.
