The United States Postal Service is looking to hire new carriers and will hold a job fair on Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2025, at the Reading Station Post Office, located at 3115 St. Lawrence Avenue in Reading. The event will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Available positions include rural carrier associates and part-time flexible city carriers. According to USPS, these jobs come with federal benefits, opportunities for career advancement, and retirement options.
“If you are 18 years old with a safe driving record, this is a terrific opportunity for job seekers to land an ideal job as a rural carrier associate or a part-time flexible city carrier,” said USPS Workforce Planning Specialist Stephanie Centeno, who will be present at the fair to assist applicants.
The Postal Service encourages interested applicants to attend the event to learn more about the hiring process and available opportunities.
