Breast Cancer Support Services of Berks County (BCSS) has announced that Tiffany Micale has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors. The staff and volunteers congratulate and welcome Tiffany to the BCSS family.
As the current Branch Manager and Assistant Vice President of M&T Bank in Birdsboro, Ms. Micale has dedicated the last 21 years to building strong connections and meaningful relationships with local small businesses and non-profit organizations to reach their financial goals. Additionally, she has been serving as the Treasurer of the Liberty Fire Company Social Quarters for the past 6 years.
Before joining the BCSS Board of Directors, Ms. Micale was a volunteer on the finance committee at BCSS and will continue to serve on that committee. As a member of the finance committee, she works closely with the Board Treasurer and other committee members, to review and supply guidance for BCSS’s financial matters. With her extensive financial background, she can advise and ensure internal controls, independent audits, and financial analysis for BCSS are conducted promptly and accurately. This will enable BCSS to remain financially stable and strong while delivering hope, emotional support, education, and resources to every person affected by breast cancer.
Ms. Micale is a proud graduate of Holy Name High School and Alvernia University. She credits her daughter Ella, who was two at the time, for unknowingly saving her life. Without her actions, Tiffany might not have been diagnosed with breast cancer until it was too late. She is thankful for the support and guidance that BCSS provided to her, and her fiancé Dan. Tiffany is grateful and honored for the opportunity to give back to the organization that helped her through such a challenging time. When not working or volunteering, she enjoys reading, watching Star Trek with Dan, and cherishing the time she gets to spend with all her loved ones as a survivor.
