The election of these officers marks a new chapter in the history of Olivet Boys and Girls Club. Each member of the leadership team is dedicated to the club’s mission of enabling young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

“It’s an honor to lead Olivet Boys and Girls Club into its next chapter. We are committed to building on our rich history of empowering the youth of our community” said Jordan.

In addition to these responsibilities, Jack Gombach will also chair the search committee for a new CEO, following the departure of Chris Winters from the organization last month. Chief Operating Officer, Kat Royer, is serving as the interim CEO.

As we navigate the important process of selecting a new CEO, our commitment remains to make a lasting impact. We are dedicated to creating an environment where every child we serve has the opportunity to flourish and realize their full potential” said Gombach.

The Olivet Boys and Girls Club has a rich history in Reading, having been one of the original 50 organizations that banded together to form what became the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. It has served as a haven and a source of holistic programming for youth, particularly focusing on safety, inclusivity, and community collaboration.
