PennDOT maintenance forces and private contractors are consistently working on roads in Berks County. To help our readers avoid travel delays, here are a few of the most notable roadwork projects scheduled the next week.
PennDOT Bridge Inspection Forces will be working on Route 222 in Muhlenberg Township between PA 183 Interchange and Business Route 222 Interchange beginning on December 9, 2020. Northbound will have a lane closure from 9-12pm. Southbound lane closure between 12-3pm.
PennDOT Maintenance Forces will be preforming crack sealing in the City of reading on Washington Street between North 11th Street and Schuylkill Avenue On December 8, 2020. Lane closure westbound, 7-3pm.
PennDOT Maintenance Forces has scheduled brush cutting on US 422 in Marion Township between Rehrersburg Road and Sheridan Road from December 7th through the 11th. Lane closure westbound, 7-3pm.
PennDOT Maintenance Forces will be performing roadwork on PA 183 (Bernville Road) in Jefferson Township between Old Church Road and North Heidelberg Road on December 7, 2020. Lane restriction with flagging, 7-3pm.
