Snowfall totals reach 5+ inches in portions of Berks County

Southeastern Pennsylvania received a little more snowfall than anticipated overnight Saturday into Sunday.

Forecasters had projected 1-3 inches of snow for our area as recently as Saturday morning. As the snowfall ended Sunday morning, many areas in Berks County received 5 inches of snow.

Spring Township: 5.3 inches at 8:10am
Blandon: 5.0 inches at 7:10am
Spring Township: 5.0 inches at 7:48am
2 NNE Mount Penn: 5.0 inches at 9:58am
3 N Topton: 5.0 inches at 10:48am
District Township: 4.9 inches at 12:30pm
West Wyomissing: 4.8 inches at 8:06am
Huffs Church: 4.7 inches at 6:00am

Reading: 4.5 inches at 9:30am
Wernersville: 4.0 inches at 12:00pm
Earl Township: 3.8 inches at 9:30am
1 ESE Birdsboro: 3.7 inches at 12:02pm
1 N Union Twp: 3.2 inches at 7:45am
Morgantown: 3.2 inches at 12:50pm
Bechtelsville: 3.0 inches at 7:30am
Douglassville: 2.3 inches at 7:20am
