Douglass Township Police cited a person with illegally dumping trash in the township on Saturday December 26th, 2020.
Officers were initially dispatched for a report of someone potentially dumping trash in the 300 block of Old Philadelphia Pike.
Upon arrival in the area, a Douglass Township Police Officer observed multiple trash bags near the entrance to Ganshahawny Park and more trash all the way down the entrance into the parking area.
According to Police, multiple pieces of mail with the same name and address were found within the trash bags.
Officers went to the address to further the investigation. The individual, who was not identified, admitted to dumping the trash at the park.
A Non Traffic Citation for Scattering Rubbish was issued to the individual.
