The Reading Police Department was called to the area of the 1000 block of Washington Street for a report of a shooting Tuesday night, May 10, 2022.
Police and EMS arrived on-scene around 10:30pm to find a victim, 21-year-old male, on the sidewalk. He was transported to Reading Hospital, where he is being treated.
Police say a second victim was transported to Reading Hospital in a private vehicle prior to their arrival. The second victim, a 26-year-old male, is currently being treated at Reading Hospital as well.
Authorities did not release any information on possible motive or if they have anyone in custody.
