Mark your calendars for Saturday, March 23rd, at 11:00 AM, as families gather at Wyomissing Hills Memorial Park for an unforgettable day of egg hunting. Children aged 1-12 are welcome to participate, with staggered start times ensuring each age group has a fair chance at finding delightful surprises hidden throughout the park.

“We are thrilled to host the Annual Egg Hunt, a cherished tradition that brings our community together to celebrate the joys of spring,” said Kristen Gajewski, Recreation Board Member for the Borough of Wyomissing. “This event provides an opportunity for families to create lasting memories while enjoying a morning filled with laughter, surprises, and the spirit of togetherness.”

“We believe in creating an ‘egg-stra’ special occasion for everyone involved,” added Randy McKinley, Director of Recreation. “The Annual Egg Hunt is not just an event; it’s a tradition that showcases the warmth and sense of community that defines Wyomissing.”

The event will also introduce “Briar the Bunny” – a delightful new addition to our Wyomissing community! Briar is eagerly awaiting to hop into your hearts at the Annual Egg Hunt on March 23rd. This friendly and festive character is sure to add an extra element of joy to the event. Don’t miss the chance to capture a special photograph with Briar and make this year’s event even more memorable!

But the excitement doesn’t stop there! The Perk Up food truck will be on-site, serving up all your coffee favorites, hot cocoa, espresso, lattes, and more. These items are available for purchase, and the food truck will be a delightful addition to the event for those looking to warm up with a delicious beverage while watching their little ones embark on their egg-hunting adventure.

In the event of inclement weather, a rain date has been set for Sunday, March 24th, with activities starting at 1:00 PM. This ensures that the fun and festivities can continue, rain or shine.

Residents are encouraged to bring their children, friends, and neighbors to partake in this egg-citing community event. The Egg Hunt promises an enchanting atmosphere and the perfect opportunity to celebrate the arrival of spring in the company of fellow Wyomissing residents.

Participants are encouraged to pre-register for the Egg Hunt at WyomissingREC.com.
