Kutztown Limits Gatherings to 10 to Mitigate COVID-19

In light of the rising COVID-19 cases in Kutztown, the Borough held a special virtual council meeting Friday evening to enact temporary emergency Ordinance to mitigate spread of the virus.

Following a two hour meeting, council passed the proposal 4-2.

The Ordinance restricts gatherings of unrelated people to 10 or fewer.

In addition, masks are required when within six feet of someone not a member of your household.

Officials also say anyone in violation of the Ordinance are subject to a fine between $100 and $600.
