Lonnie Walker IV Foundation Provides 350 Coats to the Community

The Lonnie Walker IV Foundation, in partnership with the TLC Fore Group, and IRONMAN Foundation, distributed free coats, jackets, and hoodies to the community Tuesday afternoon in the Glenside area of Reading.

The Lonnie Walker IV Foundation originally purchased 100 jackets to for the event. The group also received an additional donation of 100 jackets and 150 hoodies from to distribute.

“We are going to make 350 people warm this winter” said Crystal Gilmore Harris in between handing out jackets.

“I was super excited about it. We decided to come out of our shell, And actually hand them out to people. We didn’t do that with people for the turkey drive, but we just gotta get people in these coats because its getting cold and everyone is in need due to the pandemic.”
